Rebuild question

So, I'm thinking about a rebuild becuz the car has 109k miles. The person i bought it from had most of the parts replaced, except internals. Alot of the stuff on the engine is no more than 5 months old. I just want to replace the internals and what not. Ne ways, im picking up a head and im gonna re build that. But i'll be alright reusing sum parts on my engine now right. Basically the tranny, Act 2600 setup.

If you're not losing oil, and if the compression is fairly even, you're probably ahead of yourself on rebuilding. You have a good 50,000 miles to go, usually.

my motor blew at 131k miles,I had about 95lbs of compression. when we tore the motor apart the bearings were starting to go anyway;it was just a matter of time. Make sure that timing belt is fresh otherwise u will hear the sound of MONEY!!!!! put gas in it and and keep the oil fresh and drive it till she dies
