Crank Seal

When doing the Tbelt I want to also replace my front seal "crank seal" I have heard you can get to it without pulling the oil pump cover off and all that. Do you guys know if this is possible? Explain anything i might want to know pls.

You can, you thread 2 wood screws into it on opposite sides and pull. Not hard but don't go all crazy.

but can you put a new one back in without taking the cover off?
