I wanted to get a blow off valve and noticed that some intakes come with it on there. Would it be a good idea to get an intake with a bov already in the kit? I'm assuming that all bov's just connect to the intake?

wow someone needs to use the SEARCH button. The BOV is not part of the intake it goes on the UICP (upper intercooler pipe) and not all BOV re-circulate back into the intake. The most popular BOV would be a 1G and Greddy.

well said! Greddy all the way... I have a Greddy BOV attached to my Upper Intercooler Piping as well! We should have just told him to mount it to his intake for not searching.. i think that would be humorous.

What it means there by "Intake system with aftermarket blow off valve" is that it is designed to not recirculate the blow off valve. You need one that recirculates the BOV. Not to be a sales pitch, but I'll sell you my injen pipe and couplers for a hundred bucks shipped... I had to get a huge pipe for my 60-1. PM me back about it.

That intake is for a "95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo w/Aftermarket Blow Off Valve." It doesn't come with the BOV.

Seriously do a little research here or elsewhere about what things like BOV's do. You'll be better off for sure.

dude u dont eaven really need to get the intake piping. the more important part is the air filter, u could just take the stock intake pipe and cut the dump tube shorter and it will work just as well as an aftermarket, just dosent look as cool =X

This couldn't be less true. There are many gains from going to a solid aftermarket intake pipe. The engine gets more air, it's less restrictive, sounds better, and best of all IMHO, you can boost in 1st gear. Before I installed my Injen pipe I couldn't make posative boost in first gear. Afterwards I thought something was broken because I was getting 12psi in first. Mine made a huge difference over my hacked stock pipe.
