gm maf placement

i am going to get the gm maf, 5-3 connector and the maf translator. i was just wondering where should i put the gm maf at? does it go in place of the stock maf? or in the line between the TB and BOV? and also where would the maf trans. be mounted at?

You can put the GM MAF in the stock MAS, you can put it in between the throttle body and the blow-off valve or compressor by-pass valve (which ever you have). Most people put it in between the throttle body and the BOV so they can vent to it. The best place I found to mount the MAF-Trans was on the Fuse box, some people mount it on the firewall. If you want to put the MAF-Trans inside the car, therer are a few places sell a 6 ft extension. www.dejontool.com has a few pictures, it might give you a few ideas. Good luck
