New exhause system for a 96 GST eclipse

I wanna totally replace my exhaust has anyone else done it on a 2G...and who should I buy it from...Thanks

Depends on the look and to an extent the sound you want. Are you looking to go 3" or 2 1/2"? And you are talking about turbo-back, correct? There are alot of systems out there for you. I personally have always liked the Thermal R&D 3" system (had one on my 97 GS-T). Sounds very good and performs as good as any. The Apex N-1 is a very sharp looking exhaust as well. RRE carries them at good prices. Buschur has custom exhaust systems (I have their 3" turbo-back on my car now). Check around and see what you like. Visit the shops online (Buschur, RRE, Extreme, AHP, Turbotrix, etc., etc.) to see what each place offers.

is it really necessery with a 3" exhaust? How much power/mods do you need to make it really use its full capacity? Isnt a 2,5 enough for most cases ?
