exhaust fitting

i came across a realy good deal for full exhaust from a awd 1st gen. the prob is my 1st gen is fwd. now, i no fwd exhaust cant fit on awd becasue of the transfer case, but can i fit awd on a fwd?

Not in any way. The FWD aftermarket exhaust makes a Z shape under the car, and has to swing wide and exit right over the panhard bar connecting the rear wheels. The AWD exhaust is almost a straight shot, and is totally different. You would be wasting your time.

I see your from south jersey as well. Perhaps you could share the info on this exhaust and its price? Is it local? I would appreciate the help

sure, im checking it out 2day. a mutual friend told me about someone parting out 1st gen awd and said he had full 3" (downpipe, straight pipe, universal muffler) that he wanted to get rid of and would sell real cheap. ill do a quality/price check and post 2nite. . also, thanx to noslaser for keeping me from making a big mistake. appreaciate the help bro.

Im from Waretown, right across from Long Beach Island. I havent heard of Pennsville. Are there a lot of people on here from the jersey area? It would be kinda neat to get a DSM meet together and whatnot. Im always up for meeting new people.

Hey thats cool, perhaps we could get together sometime and head to the track or something. My talon is teal... pretty much it. I just got it though and have only driven it a couple times (in the shop currently...) so you wouldnt have seen it yet. You might have to seen a guy on a green ninja with yellow/black riding gear, thats me

btw, he wants $375 for the exhaust, full 3" awd. its in bricktown. email me with a phone # and when i check my mail in the morning ill give u directions and his cell #. i think it has to go this weekend though so if u want it jump on it.
