General 91 GVR4 ECU in 91 Talon?

can we use a 91 GVR4 ECU on a 91 Talon TSi? Nope? Yep? or with some minor fooling around?

when i put my jdm ecm in it ran but kept dying

was it because the ECU was bad? Or just because they don't work? Also, not a JDM ecu but a US spec GVR4 unit.

you shouldn't have any problems, its the same engine, same injectors, same ignition. you shouldn't have any problems.
