Ok..is there any special tool to do this with? Cause I can't seem to find a way to put enough pressure on the thing that holds it down..I am tryin to find a way to squeeze it enough so that I can take it off.

And what reasons would cause the BOV not to open up? When I rev up it to see if the valve opens, all I get is turbo flutter,I think thats the right term..

yea, get yourself some c-clip (snap ring) pliers. without those you'll never get them out. or get them in. its near impossible without them.

as for the bov not opening, i dont know.. the hks is a pull type right? maybe that lil thing inside is getting stuck? :shrugs:

try removing the big shell by remving the bolts on the front of it. it will give you alot more room to get on the c-clip. i spent an hour trying to get mine IN with it on and after removing the shell it took me two tries.

The damn c-clip is a bastard.

when i took mine out to install my uicp i broke the c-clip and had to wait a week to get a new one. when i got the new c-clip i took it to mineke(i think thats how you spell it) and had them put the valve back on for me. the guy was cool and didnt charge me for it. as far as the bov fluttering i believe its called compressor surge.....i could be wrong....happens at low boost.
