Harsh, way too harsh... PSI can be raised by buying a manual boost controller or an electronic boost controller, 1 Gs are set at around 9.... Get a boost gauge and such before messing with a boost controller... and please next time post in the right forum..

And one more thing... Spelling, its You're as in You are. Your is the possessive form of you.

Don't let your "old school" (yeah, right) ass get banned for being a twat online. Follow the rules.

My 1G with free mods was 12 PSI. Not a clue what it was before the free mods as I didn't have a Boost gauge at the time...

yea I heard 11-12 psi on a 1g ... 9-10 psi on 2g. I could be wrong tho.
switch that around 1gs ran a littl lower boost then 2gs. I ran 9psi bone stock with just a boost gauge no free mods, and no I didnt have a leak.

You're right. 2G's run a little more boost. Probably because of the smaller turbo? Plus, it was rated @ 210hp I believe?

With free mods, it's easy to run 10-12psi on a 1G w/o a boost controller. The extra flow (mainly exhaust flow) helps spool up quicker and gain a few psi in the process. That itself tells you how restrictive the stock exhaust is.

On my 90, the actuator itself opens at 9psi. With the BCS open, it's about 11psi. With the BCS restrictor removed, it's about 12 or 13.

I know that i didn't have a boost leak cause i thought i did cause i thought they ran higher boost stock but i found none and i was still running 9psi stock.

Thanks Guys.

I have been wondering aswell since my exhaust manifold have not 1, not 2, but 3 damn cracks on it if it would cause my car to surge when cold at around 1500 - 1800 rpms and if thats not the case then what can I do to fix it or make it better, I already know I need to replace the manifold but dont know where to start looking any help here????
