Alright,
I'll admit it. I'm a dumbass. But I bet most of you guys are like me. Eventually, you are going to do something stupid and blow yourmotor up (or in my case, over rev the motor and bend up all the valves in your head).
What I am going to do is build a non interfering 4g63. What I want to know is has anybody done this. Does JE/Wiseco/Ross or whoever already make pistons with enough valve relief?
If not, has anybody modified piston or had custom pistons made for this?
If this hasn't be done before, I will do it myself and post the results here. I want my motor to be built so that when (and it is when, not if) the timing belt goes, I don't care. I will replace it, not rebuild my motor. Is anybody else interested in this?
Thanks for the space.
