on the stock t25, the outlet faces the passenger side, I am getting a side side FMIC and currently have my custome made FMIC with both in/out on the passenger side. I saw my friend's eclipse and the shop sawed off the bend going to the passenger side making it point straight down.

here's my question, what would be more restrictive:

1. make a ubend from the stock outlet so that it points towards the driver saide and then another U bend to go into the FMIC inlet.

2. or 1 U bend going in from the passenger side, then out the driver side, pipe then makes a 90 degree turn up and then goes across the intercooler into the intake pipe.

I prefer option 2 for financial reasons as I have already the intake and turbo pipes there

Basically with Fluid Dynamics the less turns and connections you have the less losses you will have. The straighter the pipe the better. If you use mandral bends the losses will be pretty small. On a T-25, you won't even notice the losses. So basically for you, do it whichever way is cheaper.

counting it, it seems that the number of bends is the same, the only difference is the piping length, option 2 has an extra 2.5 feet of piping, on second though, option has about 2 feet of straight section also.

OK option 2 then, that's cheaper
