not trying to post a xturbo vs. yturbo, but i am kind of a newbie to the whole turbo thing. i deal with domestics mostly. I HAVE been searching though for about an hour on the sight. I noticed a lot of people running 12's with both 14b's and als 16g's. im not trying to have a super raced out car, but would like to upgrade the turbo. am i right that the 14bs are just 1G turbos? also the whole spooling thing, i assume is just when the turbo starts to produce the power. so like right now on the stock T25 its like 3k right? i plan on showing it a lil bit nothing major and also an occasion mustang a$$ woopin. so maybe 13's. what would be best for me? i plan on either Greddy type S BOV, or Blitz, or HKS. reccomendations? also a FMIC, walboro 255, injectors (i assume 550s) 2.5" downpipe, HKS carbon Ti cat back. any other supporting mods i would need. or am i just completely off right now??? oh yah and boost controller/guage.
 
You are definately on the right track. if you are looking for 13's then a 14b can get you there (of course i would go with the 16g if funds allow). I personally like the greddy-s bov. But overall you have the right idea.
