Exhaust system idea

I was thinking about getting a bushur racing 3 inch downpipe and then installing a cut out then using the stock cat back system think it is posisble. Ultimate sleeper, stock wheels, stock looking exhuast.

If your goal is a stock looking exhaust, check out the RRE dual tips (I got mine for $40....)


I haven't seen a cutout that didn't leak rather bad...

Personally I have a 3" mandrel bent exhaust, from turbo to tip. I have a magnaflow straight-through muffler and a 36" resonator in the middle. Car sounds rather quiet (a few people on this board have heard it) at idle, normal driving... etc. At WOT, you cannot hear the exhaust over the external wastegate (vented to atmosphere)........

I have had a lot of people comment that my car sounds and looks very tame, untill wot.... then they said it's more of a "what the hell just happened" then anything else....

i put an exhaust cutout on my friends truck, and it leaked like a mutha fatha........it was the worst $26 ever spent. I couldnt get that thing to seal for the life of me. i think it is a very cool idea if you can get it to not leak, but the one i installed was garbage, straight garbage.
