Hey Everybody,

I was searching for factory manifolds on ebay and i came across these first gen manifolds They are supposed to be a better design than the oem first gen manifolds and have a year warrenty against cracking. Do you think this would be a better option than a used 2nd gen manifold? They are the same price as a used 2nd gen used? Thanks

first gen manifold

thats an exact copy of a stock 1g manifold. that is all.

i haven't seen my manifold in like 2 months so i really didn't kow if it looked any different or not thanks though.

It looks like a 1g manifold, but it doesn't have the small s on one of the runners. It's kind of interesting though, I wonder if they are any better than the stock ones- like a higher nickle content etc. But that is cheap for a new manifold. You could get it ported and have a relatively high flowing manifold for a realitively cheap price- brand new too. Just my opinion.

yeah, it seems to be just a new 1g manifold, so it would be the same thing on your car now. I would say go with a 2g manifold, because I believe that a 2g manifold is an upgrade for a 1g.

I've been seeing those for sale on eBay for about five years, but I've yet to see any feedback about them on here. So, either they work out fine, or no one's gone for it.
