Since I installed a new Big16g a few weeks ago along with a new gasket/plate between the 2g exhaust manifold(ported 7cm) and the 7cm turbo housing, no matter how tight I tighten the bolts that hold it all together it still leaks a little boost in one spot around 14psi, the gasket/plate is one of those think ss ones from FFWD connection. Anyway what I need to know, could that little leakage from it cause me to get uneven boost readings.

If I take off from dead stop and go WOT I hit 20-22psi in 1st,2nd gears with no problem at all, but when I go into 3rd,4th and 5th I only hit 10-11psi, I even turned my MBC all the way up and it did not help. What could cause this,a bad MBC,leak, before I installed my Big16g I never had this problem but after the 16g install it worked perfect for a month or so, It just started doing this a week or two ago. Thanks

Man, It is hard to get any help on this site latley, I remember when I could get 3 or more sets of advice in a day or two, anyway doing what everyone on this site sould but doesn't,
I am going to reply with what was causing my problem, I slightly loose lower intercooler pipe clamp, It would only leak around 10-13 psi and my air compressor gauge was not giving the correct reading so I thought I was testing with 20 when it was really 9-10psi.

I had no idea a loose licp clamp could cause low boost but still allow the car to run good.

so are you still leaking around the ss turbo to mani gasket, I got one from SLowboy and Im waiting to get the turbo to bolt it all up. I kinda wondered how the thick ss gasket would compress any just in case the surfaces werent perfect. Or should I just order one of these high grade steel mesh composite gaskets gaurenteed to seal on warped surfaces? Look all the way down for $12. LOOK HERE

Talonman, I would get one of the mesh ones for sure, I took off my thick SS one and went and bought a factory gasket and dremeled the center to 7cm to match my turbo housing and 2g manifold and installed it and it no leaks now, I doubted how the big SS one could seal up when I bought it but guessed if they did not work, people would be complaining here, Guess not till now.
