Current plan to modify my torn down 90 laser rs fwd turbo
1. Build motor : eagle rods, ross piston, nascar barings, .30 bore, balance shaft removed.
2. Install motor in my engine bay. Make it look Very clean and as simple as possible.
3. Front end conversion from 1ga to 1gb
4. Repair any minor body damage / rust.. and prepare for paint
5. Paint car a very clean / showy blue either pearl or heavy flake.. electic blue. Black trim, top, hatch, hood, spoiler, front bumper.
6. New wheels. Going for some sort of 5 spoke gunmetal 17/7.5 with a polished lip/
7. Then winter will probably be here where i can store it and finish up my wishing. : full 3 inch resignated exhaust : aftermarket exhaust manifold : Larger turbo, something like a big 16g : Huge ####in Front mount intercooler : ACT 2100 clutch : 550cc injectors, bigger fuel pump : Air fuel controller : Minor head job, port n polish / new valves guides retainers, cams etc. suspension work
its probably far over kill for my goal of 300 - 350 hp.. but i dont wanna run high boost at the current point in time. Some day, i may want to so im doing a lot of other crap now that is virtually un-needed. No point in buying something that i might upgrade later ne ways... lemme know if there is anything im missing or any ideas of what you think would be better. Thanks a ton .. peace

. I WORK AT A SPORTCOMPACT shop and i get stuff at cost price. Problem is, they are not pros on DSMs or turbo. My car already has Eagle rods, ross pistons, .30 bore, balance shafts removed and thats it for the motor. And for the 20g IDEA - My friend ( that won #1 mitsu at autovations ) has a 20g hybrid and it spools at just under 3000 rpms and hes only boosting 24 psi.. 405 WHP gsx. You do the math, it CAN be a good turbo. I think im missing things to my list, and im sure there are things that dont match up with the setup. Thats what i was lookin for, not for you to bash on it buddy. My car is SHOW AND GO. big front mount is good for show and go, heavy exhaust work will provide a profound sound as with help my flow to help the performance of the turbo. PLEASE, IF ANYONE ELSE HAS *IDEAS* FOR ME.. FEEL FREE TO LEMME KNOW! bashing on someones "wishes" does nothing for ne one
