Can some one explain this step of afc install to me

Ignore that step...... I also reccomend against the blue wire mod... as it is not accurate.

Why is that? I have the blue wire mod done and it works great. I think it's just as good as the jumptronix unit that RRE sells. Plus if I'm not mistaken RRE is the one that gives instructions on how to do the mod, and recommends it on there site. I usually pay more attention to my egt's instead.
