50 trim is bigger than a 20g. But that one you will need a custom manifold and a custom o2 housing. (I know they make the mani, i have never seen that o2 housing). I wouldn't recommend that one.

the winner of that auction will be disapointed with their purchase.

dissapointed? why? i have a turbonetics mani that i used with my 60-1, its the same footprint i thought, t3/t4 .i was the winning bidder damnit... whats wrong with this turbo?!?1one

I wouldn't say "disappointed". But it's a big turbo. So you'll need all the supporting mods to be able to fully utilize the extra airflow.

Who makes that turbo anyways? I don't recognize it?

well i had a 60-1 until it decided to crap out, so i think i have the supporting mods,50 trim is smaller than the 60-1 correct?i didnt have any spooling issues or anything, anything else bad about the turbo?

okay, so i just need a custom o2 housing right?

No you will need a custom o2 housing, a custom exhaust mani, and it looks like a custom oil feed line. (That o2 housing has me a little worried)

Edit: i see you have the mani. You won the auction???

yes i won the auction, that flange on the exhuast side of the turbo looks a lot like the one i have, so maybe i can use the same o2 housing, but im not sure.

daym, sounds like i need to just pay for it and relist it, has anyone had experience with these people or brand turbo, i dont know much about turbos but i thought this was just a garret with some brand just stamped on the housing.

Actually, it is not a 50 trim, its a 57 trim. Read closer and you will see that. I would run it and see how well it works. If you already have a full garrett setup, it should bolt on with no additional parts needed.

He already runs a 60-1, so his setup is already full Garrett. So yes, the turbo should drop right in.

Thats a bastard flange on the o2 housing, and its common as hell, up until 2 years ago 90% of garrets for like 30 years had that flange. Came factory on alot fo cars, liek turbo fords.

Care to give any insight on this or are you just going to leave it as a general statement like your other posts.

There was a local guy that bought a turbo on Ebay and had a similar situation. I guess there are 2 different flanges for the O2 on Garrett setups. One is a 4 bolt and the other is a 5 bolt. The 5 bolt, I believe, is the more common and the one that most DSM guy use when they go full Garrett. You could PM BenK, from AGP, and see what he has to say, but I think you will be fine. All of this is from about 6 months ago so I could be wrong but for the most part thats what I remember.

I figured you'd troll your way into here questioning my comment, as usual.

Clearly you've never seen a turbo purchased from ebay before. Let's just say shaft play comes free. It's not just one case ive seen this, infact many. I work at a shop, and I cannot even give a correct guess as to how many kids have come in with brand new ebay turbos. Six maybe? *shrugs* Garbage.

But I'm sure you'll have a problem with my general statement, so lets look at his feedback on his turbo sales.

Negative - NEVER BUY FROM THESE GUYS. THEY DONT REPLY AND SENT ME A BAD TURBO.
Buyer huffy_21 ( 11)

Negative - 1st turbo was NFG; this is day 90, and I've not got a replacement turbo back yet
Buyer 510rob ( 38)

Negative - Product really SUCKS!!! All mating flanges are bent. U get what U pay for
Buyer festurbo ( 9 )

Negative - ground off nut on exhaust impeller, blade dinged, should not have been sent 2 me
Buyer millencolinman8 ( 29)

And this one just left yesturday:

Negative - bent fins, excess shaft play, dosent respond to emails. COMPLETE CRAP
Buyer bcannam ( 189)

Is this enough insight for you or are you going to make me type his name in google to see what we come up with.

Actually I dont troll I give an answer backed by facts or thoughts sometimes opinions. You give a general statement and nothing more, yet I am a troll. It would have been just as easy to say, "dont buy from him he has alot of negative feedback, or look at his feedback and see if you really want to buy from him."

If you spent more time giving a good answer then you would have to explain your self constantly.

i read his feedback before i bought it he has a few negative but about 500 more positive, 97%, anyway, it comes with a waranty and i have his number and adress so i think it'll be okay.

I listed feedback on his turbo sales. He sells tons of other crap.

Here is a feedback left just yesturday:

Negative - Part didn't fit as adv. Buyer wouldn't return e-mails, calls or fax requests.
Buyer snowskingbanker ( 3 )

According to many other negative feedbacks (I won't even bother to list) if you have the slightest bit of a problem with your product, the seller seems to disapper forever.

Best of luck!

Why buy from anyone who has sold at least five bad turbos? :thumbdown

IMO it is not worth the risk. Sure you have his number/address, but does he have your trust? If so, you are a sucker.

On the other hand, if you do in fact go through with this deal, good luck, and don't say we didn't tell you so. ;)

Thats looks like that shitty OBX manifold with a good polish job.

I bet you're right, and that's what it is.

Either that, or SSAutoChrome crap.
