I have a FULLY stock 1999
Eclipse GSX
What i want to do is reach 275-280 HP. So i have a few questions. As described on the guide on this site i need quite a few supporting mods for this. This is understandable but what I am wondering which brand and exactly parts I need for this? First question EVO III 16G Turbo is any good? Also with FMIC do I need one for this setup even a small one for stock one will do fine? I want this car still be daily driver and last me some time. What about exhaust manifold? Which one would you guys recommend? As for exhaust system i decided to have 2.5" O2, down pipe, high flow car and the rest.... should i go 3" after down pipe? I dont want to it be SCREAMING @ WOT but still have nice sound. Which setup is recommended Performance Clutch? I heard that putting one increases chance of crank walk.... Are Intercooler Piping is really necessary? AS for the budget... I have around $4000 USD to spend. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
