Question Need Radiator fans

I bought a fluidyne radiator and the stock fans will not clear my J pipe or external dump. What are some reasonable priced fans that will work for me?

The Flex A Lite fans are low profile fans that should clear your j pipe and ext. dump. The retail at most sites for around $350. I would recommend these they are very high quality.

check these fans out. http://www.zirgo.com/search.lasso?search=cooling+fan

I have serious space issues with my new PTE turbo installed and had to loose both stock fans. My Intercooler kit came with a FAL 12" slim fan rated at 1000cfm but my coolant temps got to high under normal driving conditions. (216+) I ordered an 8" Zirgo fan and wired it to my AC fan plug and when it's running, it moves more air then the 12" FAL.

So I just ordered one 12" and one 10" Zirgo fan to replace my other slim fans. I'll use the small 8" fan as a pusher in front of my AC condensor.

Question

Which side do you put the 12" fan on? The AC side?

I put the 12" fan on the passangers side of the car and the new 10" fan will be on the drivers side to replace the stock AC fan. The old 8" fan will go in front of the AC condenser as a pusher fan to force more cool air thru the rad on the drivers side closer to the downpipe.

I got my slim fans from SBR, and they look a good bit slimmer then those posted above. Like I said, SBR has them, but so do alot of other shops so look around.....

Since the stock wiring is four wires (2 for high, 2 for low) which two are for high? I am about to put in a slim-line fan on the passenger side and am not sure which 2 color wires to connect to it.

I just simply connected the high and low power into one, and the high and low ground, into one and then connected them to the power and ground on the fan. It has worked fine for me.
