Will a 7-bolt DSM motor with a 2.4 crank, crankwalk?

so few cars walk, if your car is going to walk it will walk with the new crank. I believe its the blocks that are the cause them to walk, as apossed to the usual cause being a thrust bearing. I wouldnt worry about it, any motor can walk our situation is blown WAY out of proportion.

no one can answer you, because no definite proof has been documented. However many engine rebuild failures are because of the builder and not the parts. Although I personally would have more piece of mind with a 6 bolt. Its not that much harder if you are already going to rebuild.
