I'd be keen on seeing a DSM with a V-8. No hurry, I can wait. I know it may be a while. A looooooong while.turbo90gsx said:People put in v8s so I'm sure is posiable.

I've seen pictures of it. There's a whole website about it actually. It was a 2g talon, and if I remember right it was a big block chevy. This was a sponsored NHRA drag car.Defiant said:I'd be keen on seeing a DSM with a V-8. No hurry, I can wait. I know it may be a while. A looooooong while.

Ah, so it was a dragster with DSM metal wrapped around it. Not quite the same, is it? You could peel off the fenders and make it a Datsun, or a Mazda, or a Humber Snipe.leakyfaucet said:I've seen pictures of it. There's a whole website about it actually. No, it wasn't just a dragster with DSM panels. It was a DSM shell with basically everything under the car ripped out. It wasn't one of those fiberglass funny cars that look "kind of" like the real thing.Defiant said:Ah, so it was a dragster with DSM metal wrapped around it. Not quite the same, is it? Seems to me that once you've stopped using a DSM gearbox, transfer case, driveline and rear end, it's not so much an engine swap anymore.
