Alright. I have heard the BOV line is good. I have heard the compressor housing is good. This ones better. that ones better. WHICH IS IT??? reasons/advantages would also be appreciated.

i use the fpr line. i t'ed in to it with a vacuum hose t and used it. id say its better than using the compressor outlet since the pressure in the intake manifold (the pressure that you are measuring with a boost gauge or should be) can be different from the pressure of the compressor outlet, thus the trigger for your wastegate can slightly differ as well. since the pressure that matters is what is in your intake manifold, you might as well base the wastegate on it. just mho.

Yes, you want it from the manifold because you don't care what the turbo or charge pipes are seeings in boost, you care what's actually going into the engine.

The fpr source isn't best because if you loose the fitting or develope a leak there, you're fuel pressure will be jacked. That could cause a huge problem called knock. BANG!

so put a t in the line going to the bov, but then what do I do with the compressor housing? just cap that off?

yeah cap it off.

98spyder, so when u say from the manifold u mean the BOV line correct? or one of the other vacuum lines around there?
