Need help with afc installation

I went to the vfaqs for this but the problem is there are two different install direction and they are not the same. Which one do I use? One says to use the white and yellow afc wires for the signal from the mass air flow. The other says to use the pink and the orange wire from the afc for the mass air flow. Which one is right, or do they both work?

Ok does anyone have an afc? I know alot of people do. Does anyone recall the way it was hooked up? One more thing which wires aren't supposed to be hooked up. One set of directions leaves the white,yellow, and blue wire disconnected. The other leaves the pink, orange, brown, gray, and blue wire disconnected. I know about the blue wire mod. I just left it disconnected either way. Anyway please help because I need to install this tonight. I put my 550s in and runs like sh!t. Well it's fine when cruising but at wot it doesn't run right.
