Stock turbo is starting to go bad.

I just had my engine rebuilt last winter, but my turbo was not changed. Now my turbo is starting to go and i want to replace it with something a little bigger. Right now I dont have the cash to do much of anything other than just the turbo itself. What turbo would i beable to get where it will mount to the stock manifold and where i would beable to turn the boost down enough where I wouldnt need to replace the injectors or the fuel pump. What else would i need to get other than the turbo itself, do i need an aftermarket blow off valve, and should i get a turbo with an external wastegate or an internal wastegate. Thanks.
