I just had to get a new ecu and so I opted to get one with an eprom. My question is what is everyones experience with TMO chips. Does it make a big difference? Also how well does it work with the S-AFC? From the TMO website, it seems like it would help alot, and being able to change the stock boost gauge to read injector efficiency would be nice.

Candela, I've heard the same. What is that all about? What happened? Todd just give up?

V8SHME8, the TMo chip is a nice addition. it makes no difference whatsoever performance-wise as it runs the same fuel maps as stock. it does incorporate some nice features though that can help enhance your performance, ie stutterbox, increased rev limiter. it works fine with the AFC and the gauge feature is excellent. There are chips floating around. If you can, snatch one up.

Yes the tmo chips are really nice, and well worth the money, IMO.
I read something about how Todd just quit dsms and gave up period...which sucks huh? Ill try and find that article and post it up here.

I have not had any luck calling the phone number on the TMO website, but I have been assured that they are infact still in business. The thing is that they have moved locations and had alot on backorder according to Foriegn Auto Computer Repair. I dont know how reliable that information is but that is one story that I have heard. TMO has a phone line still up and running.

I am trying to buy at stage 3 eprom for my 98 talon. The guy im buying it from just called TMO the other day to see if the updates were available yet for it, he said not yet. But they ARE still in business.
