I recently rewired my 255 fuel pump and i notice that my pump makes a whiny noise it doesn't sound like the humm that it made before but i was just wondering when the pump is feeding off the battery does it cause the pump to pump more thus resulting in runing more rich?

LOL but i mean at idle. i know my pump is already out flowing the fpr so im running even more rich at idle? i figure it would, oh hyeah fro what i researched the stock fuel filter to the fuel rail is supposed to be the biggest restriction fuel wise, so how much can i boost without starving the engine ? im running walboro 255 pump with 780 injectors

unless youre running about 500hp you dont need to rewire your 255.

generally a 255 will not need to be rewired until high hp numbers are being put down. A 190 I would rewire ... the stock pump I'd rewire. ( but then again who sticks with the stock pump??? )
