Hear Anything about the "Boosted Peformance MAS mod???"

Have u guys heard anything about this MAS mod from boosted performance? the link is http://www.boostedperformance.com The info is under "new stuff" I called the guy and talked to him for about a half hour or so and it seemed pretty legit. Its basically a ported, hacked and rewired MAS, stops fuel cut till 25 psi, and flows 30% more over stock. He advertises minumum 20hp gain with an unmodded car, up to 60 with all the boltons...hmm 150 bucks on sale?? Ive still got my 1g MAS and it seems worth it. He claims it brought their new street shop 1g car from 13.1's to 12.5's I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this place or the MAS mod.

You can hack your own MAS for free with instructions found online. Those same resources will tell you the resistor that you need to rewire you MAS to get better timing and better fueling. Spending $150 for that is insane.

As much as I don't want to be a 'playa h8ta' I have my own personal experience with the guy from Boosted Performance. Going back about 5 years, maybe even longer (God I'm getting old) we were at our local street race hang out; Checkers in North Lauderdale. There was this guy (I didn't know who it was at the time) with a Maroon Laser. We were like cool, let's check it out. He had the hood popped, and was telling all about how he runs low 11's, this and that, blah blah blah. Under the hood, he had factory intercooler piping wrapped in tin foil, and had written '23G' in Crayon on the stock 14B turbo. We tried talking sensibly to him and he had none of that, just went on foaming about how fast his car was, etc. Finally, he left, and when he took off, it looked like about a low to mid 14 second car if that. The secret to the times he runs now? NITROUS. I'm not impressed by anything they sell, and I was even less impressed by the 'shop' owner. Either way, just my 2 cents.

Hahahaha yeah i saw the shop car! I thought it was a joke.... Anyways all that i have done to my MAS is the lower honey comb removed. Where is the info that shows how to rewire it? Thanks

thats been under the "new parts" section for well about 2 years along with the special price.

i've heard many bad things about that place.

but i've heard a lot of good things about the AL BLAHA MAS... this seems to be the favorite....

hahahahaha yeah, i got a bunch of messages from you guys, 2 people have already instant messaged me warning me not to talk to this guy. I spoke to him on the phone, and he seemed a little eccentric...tried for a half an hour to convince me that front mount intercoolers are bullshit...hmmmm anyways Ive done a little reasearch on the al blahas and theyre what Im looking for, better than spending a grand on a VPC...although it would be nice...

HI. I always hear people talking about the 1G MAS Mods. I was wondering wouldn't it be better goin with the 2G MAS?...Are there any pros n cons...is it worth buying the 2G MAS?.....thanks for the help

if you want a 2G MAS...... you have to hack your wiring, find a plug for the MAS....... and then you need an afc to have it work properly.

its just cheaper to buy an al blaha.........
