Springs and retainers are great, but their extra strength and light weight help you spin the engine faster without floating a valve. They don't effect lift, unless you're running HUGE race cams that won't work with stock springs.well i stated like 10 posts up that im getting springs and retainers for the lift.
Then why didn't you ask that in the first place??i just wanted to hear others results that have gottin these products. or even just a guestimate from an educated person.
was that to me???Originally posted by tjh-dsm

No, that's what you don't understand. It's not a simple question, its an impossible question to answer. No one can say "You'll get 11.5 HP out of the intake and 35.9 HP out of the cams". What these guys are trying to say is that since you're running an otherwise stock configuration, you won't get much out of cam/gears, since the rest of your system won't be optimized to take advantage of the extra lift and duration. If you really want to know how much power they all to your car, you'll have to dyno it, then install the parts and then dyno it again.
