New kit out for Evo 8

Man I would so rock this thing ina heartbeat. Complete bolt on to stock manifold. And they have done what no DSM turbo place could do; design a bolt on turbine housing that actually matches the size and flow charactoristics of a Garrett GT 4 bolt housing, in either .63 or .82 a/r. This thing is so pimptastical!

Wow, that looks really nice.

I like the way they are mounting the external and having it route back into the DP. 450 crank HP is nice also.

450 is there smaller kit. They offer THIS turbo in a GT3540(or GT35R) combination. And we all know what that turbo is capable of. I believe the 450whp kit uses the standard GT3037s or something.

Might have to search around evolutionm.net and see if anyone has any reviews on this kit. If I ever sell the GSX and start to mod the Evo, I'll have to look into this kit.

It's located on the exhaust housing, definitely a different way of mounting it.

That is the best wastegate design I have ever seen on a DSM/4G63, I think, bar none.

Notice how it will vent after the four runners come together, but not in the large collector area going to opposite direction as flow. In addition, it doesn't require the gasses to take a 90 degree corner to escape.

Well built piece there.

Awesome turbo, turbine-housing mounted wastegate that's dumped back into the exhaust, v-band clamped downpipe, etc. etc.

Why can't they make this for DSMs?

ams custom t/3t/4 kit for the evo 8, this is by far the best kit out for the evo. i mean just look at this thing and look at there evo and a few evos tha are running this are putting out 599.5 awd on a awd dyno.

this kit is why i get all my stuff made by ams and dont mind paying for it

thats a consistant kit if a few evos are all putting down 599.5 awhp

Thanks for the post Jim. Right now no evo 8 kit spools faster or puts down more power then our kit does. Not to mention we are now offering a waterinjection kit for it that on pump gas we put down 505 whp. SICK!

p.s. im gonna need a gt35r with a polished compressor housing and to make another custom o2 housing to fit my header. also do you guys send out the turbine housing to get ceramic coated or will i have too. thanks jim

ATP has been around for a while, they started with VW/Audi parts, and there prices were always lower than anyones kits for VW/Audi stuff. I had a kit on my vr, very good bang for the buck from them ~400whp (race gas). They also have good service, my .02

They will also work with you, calling them works well.
