:dsm: i recently got all of my uicp from dejentool along with the welded flange they had for the turbo xs h-34

everthing is on right but the only prob i have is closing the hood..

i could close the hood all the way but its starting to cut through the new radiator hose that switch the stock one with since it was cut cleaned right off after the first day...

right now on the tip of the bov where gold tip meets the vacoum hose its startin to close through. it kept the vac down which gave me poor boost... (5psi) from (16psi)

i cut a whole it the silver shield and its not helping.....

any ideas???

Eliminate the whole silver thing to start, then go from their.
im talkiing about the shield thats on the underside of the hood!!!
the heat sheild thats where i cut a hole in

yah,, dont be removing your heat shield on the underside of the hood unless you like repainting......

yah, that was just from my experince,,, lookin for 2gs i found 2 that had clearcoat peeling and permanent paint "blotches" only on the hood. Both of those had one thing in common and that was no heatshield,,,It just doesn't seem like a good idea unless for a GOOD reason.

Regarding your UICP,, I have heard of a few peoplewho had fitment issues and they were all takin care of by dejontool. Try turning it like stated before though.

i would call dejon and get a replacement becasue it is prolly defective like mine was. i ordered the same thing and the BOV flange was welded on pointing in the wrong direction.
