Max length of K&N filter that would fit in a 2g Turbo??

Hello everyone,

I'm a bit stuck here....I would really appreciate it if you can tell me what's the max length of a K&N filter I can fit on my 96 Spyder Turbo with stock intake, the reason is that I'm out of town and need to buy one, I'm getting the Universal filter since the FIPK is not available here, the one I got is 8" long but when i got back to my hotel I discovered it's a bit too long !! the K&N number is RE-0910

If you can tell me what's the number of your K&N filter that youre sure would fit (engine bay 100% stock) or if the one I got would fit I would really really appreciate it.

By the way while i was at that shop i got the MSD 8.5mm super conduction wire set...is it any good ?

The filter that comes with the FIPK is part number RF-1019. I couldn't find the size on it.

well...that's the kit i initially wanted to get but it's not available in Kuwait (which is where I live now) so my only option is to fit a universal filter that would fit on a 3" diamater round adapter
