I am going to purchase a new mbc and wanted everyones opinion. So far it looks like the hallman es mbc but has anyone tried the turbonetics cockpit mounted variable boost controller? It seems to me that it would have a bad spiking problem with such long vac lines but I have no experience with them. Can someone with the turbonetics mbc help me out?

For the most part with mbc's, an mbc is an mbc is an mbc. Which one you prefer would probably depend on the name. With the cockpit mounted ones they are nice since you can adjust boost at any light instead of having to pop the hood. If you really want a hallman though i believe that they make a cockpit mounted one.

exactly what he said. doesnt really matter wich way you go you will get the same perfomrance, my opinion, get one off ebay, i got one for 23shipped and it works like a charm, but what ever floats your boat, you wanna pay more go for, good luck

hallman evolution, has cockpit adjustability, its a bit pricey at about $150, but id buy one over a $300+ ebc anyday :thumb:

I had the cheap ebay controller and had nothing but problems with it. I would rather spend more $ than to have uncontrolable boost. I got the hallman es and my boost is now rock steady at 20psi. No more spiking and fluctuating from 19-23 psi.

Not all MBC's are created equal.

Turbonetics one sucks, don't bother. A friend had one and switched to a hallman.
