Ive been running a tried and true replica of Joe P's MBC for more than a year now and ive never had any problems with it. It doesnt spike, or fall back down just rock solid boost to watever i set it at. Well seeing how im always up for new hardware for my car, I recently picked up a BLITZ SSBC electronic Boost controller. Its their very first one with the 2 little knobs HI and LO. Well i set it up right according to the instructions i got online. And it works great according to whatever i set the boost to inside the car. But there is a small problem, for example, If i have it set on LO and turn the boost knob all the way down to The lowest boost i get is 10PSI which is correct according to my 16g wastegate actuator, But when i turn the boost knob all the way up the highest i get on the LO setting is 13 psi which is correct.. But the problem im having is that no matter if i have the boost set on the setting LO or HI say 15 psi my car will instantly at say 3100 rpm jump to 15 psi then around 4000 go back down to 10 psi and SLOWLY climb to 15 by the end of 7000 rpm... It does this in every gear and on any PSI setting i use... Its basically like a 93-95 RX7 twin SEQUENTIAL turbo setup. I get 15, 10, 14 meaning 15 at 3000 rpm 10 at 4300 and 14 at the top of 7000 rpm in every gear... WTF is up???? can i not get a constant 15 PSI like my OLD MBC could handle?????? What is the point of Electronic Controllers if they dont work good? Please help me out. P.S. Everything is hooked up right and ive played around with the GAIN but that only helps out boost response... Otherwise if i cant get this right im going back to my MBC.
