Manual Boost Controller questions for a 1st gen

ok i have a 91 talon tsi awd new turbo Mitsubishi EVO III Big 16G Turbo and Mitsubishi EVO III Manifold with 2.5" exhaust my questions are:

1. Buschur Racing manual boost controller or Diamond Star Specialties or any suggestions?
2. how much boost should i run?my next step is to get some 550 injectors and a walbro 255 should i wait until after that to get a boost controller?
3. what is the max recomended boost i can safely run on pump gas
4. whats the max recomended boost for a daily driver?
5. is there a kit to put a manual boost controller inside the car because electronic ones are rather pricey

yes i am a noob but i also want to do things right

If you want in-car boost control without the price of an electronic, get the Hallman Evolution kit, which is about half the price of a Profec B Spec II (~$160).

I currently run the Profec in my 90 GSX at 16psi on the 14B, which is probably about as far as you want to go on pump gas on the stock injectors. I ran 14psi with no problem before I upgraded to the Walbro 190, then I went to 16. Since you're running the Evo III 16G, you might hit fuel cut at ~16psi since it flows more air than the 14B does @ the same boost pressure.

I wouldn't bother with the Walbro 255 if you're going to get 550's, the 190 will flow more than enough fuel for those. Plus, you'll probably have issues with base fuel pressure if you're running the 255 high pressure pump, which will cause you to run rich.

Getting 550's means you'll need a fuel controller or a modded ECU as well, so if you're looking for bang for the buck, get a Walbro 190, an MBC and a boost gauge and set it for 16psi while you save up for an AFC, some bigger injectors, an EGT gauge and a datalogger, which you'll need to tune the 550's. Read the "injector chooser assistant" table, that will give you a good idea of how much boost you can run with a given setup.

You really shoulda done all this "before" getting the Evo 16G.
 
i just bought the car and it came with all that stuff on it i havent done anything to it yet
should i go with bigger injectors since they are all realatively the same price im open to any suggestions

s-afc or afc? = ordered pending
egt = ordered
datalogger = ordered
255 = canceled order

so if i go 550's get a 190
and i should go bigger if i get the 255

and im looking into the Hallman Evolution kit/ or Porsche
