Well, my old HKS Turbo cat-back exhaust is just about rusted away, so now I'm looking for a nice 3" stainless steel o2 Eliminator turbo back exhaust. RNR has a really good deal going on now for $725 w/no cat. Thats about the best deal I've found on a full SS exhaust. Does anyone run this system? If so how is the build quality? Is it a throty exhaust, because thats something I'm looking for? Any input would be greatly apreciated, thanks!

I run this exaust system and the build quality is very good. The packaging that they use for shipping however is pretty poor and it doesnt come with any hardware, so your going to have to buy some clamps at carquest or somewhere. The exaust is quite loud and very deep and bassy...if you do a pull up to a 100 on the freeway it will be really freaking load on the decel, which is how I like it :thumb: So for the price I dont think it can be beat, just dont expect it to get to your house in a week (1 month for me)

I've had mine for about a year now and it's holding up good. The quality is good and the sound is nice and throaty. You don't need any clamps because it's a slip fit system :thumb:

i have the o2 elim dp no cat, and a thermal exhaust, i was really happy with the downpipe, good quality, but they are right about the packaging, i got mine with nothing else in the box, just the downpipe, it wasn't hurt, and mine got here in 2 weeks, but it was just the downpipe.

I just installed a 2.5" dp, test pipe and catback from them on my 1g tsi. Built quality is excellent, fitment was perfect. Mine came with pretty much all the mounting equipment I needed. Sound is nice, at idle it's a low rumble but not too loud or echoey, but when you get on it the thing roars. I don't regret my purchase. But, if you order a full custom exhaust system from them, expect 2 months to get it. If it comes sooner, great, but that's how long mine took.

Sounds like an investment I just might make then. Thanks for all your guys comments.

Ditto per Talek: 2 months to receive exhaust (full 3" O2 eliminator system for 93 AWD TSi).

System packaged in a box with no packing. One pipe was slightly dented.

Fitment is OK. Rear transverse section slightly short. Muffler tip could stick out a little farther, so is nearly hidden which appears like a factory part.

The O2 eliminator could have better build quality: pipe to flange interface has gaps in the gaspath side. Sealing thus dependent on welds.

Install was VERY quick. That was nice.

Sound is loud inside and especially behind the car. Engine is built, with Web cams. Maybe it would've been a little quieter with stock engine. Still not as loud as friend's built Mustang with no cats and 2.5" dual exhaust. Nevertheless, I don't and won't daily drive it.

I have just the 3inch-o2 elim DP had it for over a year and it's still great.

I've had my 2.5" RnR O2 Elim turboback for about two years now-- I think a little exhaust gas is starting to leak through the flex section-- there's black soot marks all around it. Has anybody else experienced this? It's probably not much to worry about, but I was just curious.
