Hope I can post this in this category... Anyways, I have a 1990 Talon Tsi. I bought it fully rebuilt with under 6K on new motor bored 30 over and new turbo. The previous owner put a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 fuel pump in it. I don't believe he put in larger injectors so I assume those are stock. Also, my gas guage does not work becuase of it. My question is, does a larger fuel pump do anything without larger injectors? Good or bad. If good, is it a big enough difference in performance or should I throw my stock one back in and get my guage back? Also, should the VR4 fuel pump wire in the same as the stock? Should I look back there to see if there's a crossed or unplugged wire? Any info is greatly appreciated :thumb:

A larger pump will keep your fuel pressure from dropping at higher boost levels amd higher injector pulsewidths. I have heard of the fuel presure dropping off, even on cars with stock injectors.
