First mod: Maft or 3" turbo back exahust?

I've got $300 to spend on my first mod (thats first, not only). I've got a tsi awd. I dont know if I want to do the maf-t conversion for $270, or a full custom 3" turbo back exhaust (including custom o2 housing) for $280.

which will give me better gas mileage? better spool time? and most hp for stock psi? thanks in advance.
