Upgrading to a 1g intake manifold.

I looked thru here and checked in the search box but I haven't found any articles on how to install a 1g intake manifold on a 2g. If any one could help me out or give me a link to where it shows how to do it, I would appreciate it! Also if any one could help me with my greddy profect B II boost controller. I can't seem to dial it in to make more than like 12psi consistantly, So if any one could help me out on that too I would appreciate it! Thanks allot. Josh

Putting a 1g mani on a 2g head is a waste of time. Either swap heads or leave it alone.

You probably have a boostleak to cause problems with your controller.

i did a search awile ago anf found plenty. hes right, either swap the mainfold and head at the same time or its not worth it it. no power gain when the air is getting blocked from the 2g head.

plent of people run "bigger" intake manifolds on second gens. I'm sure they are seeing some power gains, why wouldnt a first gen mani?

because those manis are designed with the 2g head dimensions in mind, whereas a 1g intake mani isnt

Or port out your head...alot. The 1g runners are quite a bit fatter than the 2g's.
