I have read all open discussions on ECU+ but still have one question. Because it does not require a EPROM ecu, do you need a laptop, or palm in the car with you 24/7 or will your adjustments be saved? If so, how are they being saved on cars without eprom? Its a small, stupid question... but I was just wondering.

Side note. Machv said they were coming out with a complete patch harness to wire the connections soon. ANyone have any info if this will actually happen?

Adjustments are saved inside the ECU+ box, just like adjustments on a SAFC are saved inside of it. You do not need a laptop or palm in the car 24/7. You only need it if you want to log or change parameters.

As for the harness, I don't know. You can buy the harness from Buschur Racing (it's under their EVO section, not DSM) and then do the soldering yourself. I would ask Mach V or the ECU+ guy (Tom Collins) about the pre-wired harness.
