I have a 96 eclipse GSX. I need some help on choosing what size intercooler to get. I have a 16g turbo that i got from slow boy racing. I want to get greddy but apparently them make two size large which is 16inches wide and xlarge which is 23 inches wide. www.extremepsi.com has both of them on there website. I need to know which is the best for my turbo without losing any power. I would appreciate any feedback you have. Please leave some any advice or info THANKS ALOT!! :dsm: :thumb: The core sizes i have to choose from are 18r or 24r THanks

Some advice. A better thread title instead of "Check this out". Maybe "Differences between big and small greddy fmic". Just my opinion.

Bigger fmic offer better cooling (because of more area), but a slight more lag; maybe, I don't think it would be noticeable. I would go with the big greddy verus the small greddy. The big greddy will work perfectly with a 16g, and give you room if you upgrade your turbo in the future. The only bad things about either greddy model is that it has a lot of piping; it reroutes the piping throught he stock upper ic location...

Greddy intercoolers are nice I guess, but they have alot of un-necessary piping which draws me away from them.

Check out AGP's, victory performance, dejon tool, slow boy racing, etc. for some of their intercoolers. They will have shorter piping, and you can run a 1g BOV rather than the POS greddy. A 1g BOV is all you will be needing with a 16g.

I agree, Greddys were great before there wee any options, now they are just sold on intertia...if a small company released a product that shitty it would go out of buisness in a week.
