i just got a slightly used 16g and was wondering what boost i could run with stock 450 injectors, and stock re wired pump? i have an afc and am working on tuning it now. also the turbo came with a 2g o2 sensor, i was wondering if i could cut the wire and just splice on my 1g plug. the 2g o2 is in better shape than mine. thanks for the help.

start at like 15psi.....turn it up little bit at a time. Once your boosting and all the sudden the car looses all power and throws you foward, youve hit fuel cut. Turn it down a couple PSI and go. :thumb:

i dont think thats very good advice, this is a larger than stock turbo, 15 is pushing it on a 14b, and i have my mas hacked so i would not necessarily hit fuel cut, i was told about 12 psi the other day after i posted this. can anyone back this up can i run a little more than 12. thanks.

My friend has a s16g with stock injectors and a VR4 fuel pump and runs 15 psi daily and is turning it up to 18 psi when we go to the track next week.

how else you going to know for sure what boost you can run.........log it at certain boost, and see how much knock you get. If you know how to tune and read data, it should be pretty easy to find out how much boost you can run. I was just giving you an easy out, cuz it doesnt seem like you know alot about it. So if you know how to tune, then it sould be pretty easy to figure out. Good luck

thats the thing, i dont have a logger to tune with all i have is a volt meter to read the o2 voltage, and an afc. i am starting to learn how to tune with it, the thing is though i thought that with a 14b 15 psi was max with stock injectors, and rewired pump, and a s16g is a little bigger. i just dont wana run to lean and mess up my new turbo, or my engine. thanks.

well with a rewired pump, if you didnt compensate for that opn your AFC...your running rich as it is. I suggest just running 15psi, and get something to log with.
