Princeton,
right now look at my mods, I need a to put a guage in the other pod, should I get a a/f guage or an egt gauge. which is more accurate, which is more practical. Should I put the a/f guage in the pod so I can see when driving if i'm going dangerously lean and put an egt gauge next to my afc, when I get one to fine tune it, or just put the egt gauge in the pod. how quick is the responsive of the egt gauge vs the a/f. What do you guys run.

If you get an A/F guage one from jumptronix is your best bet. I would suggest getting an EGT becasue you will use that more in the long run and any logger can log O2's but not EGT's.

what egt guage should I get, the autometer egt gauge is that okay, what probe.

I suggest Greddy it comes with a probe that is good. If you get a EGT w/o a probe. Get a probe from TRE.

I have autometer EGT gauge with probe. Works good, but I'm having troubles trusting it yet. It shows temps of 1400-1500F when I'm simply cruising on a highway at about 80-85mph, and will drop a a bit if I apply some throttle. In addition, I think the pointer is at 200 when the car is supposed to be completely cold (in the morning before start), I can't confirm that however, because I forget to look at it every time before I start my car.

A/F is totally out of whack. When throttle is applied, it stays way to far in the rich zone, and gets only richer with rpms rising. There is no way i could be running that reach (tunning with SAFC dosn't seem to reflect on it), but again, I probably need to replace my O2 sensor.

Get the egt gauge. Any AF gauge besides the one John mentioned is nothing but a waste of money for a blinky light.
