Garrett T3 Velocity Stacks

Does anyone know where you can get a bolt-on velocity stack for the Garret T3 compressors? I've checked ATPturbo.com and a couple other places but haven't been able to find a source for them.

Weapon-R and Turbonetics makes the Velocity stack you want. I had one of the weapon r units and it was really nice. I got rid of it but now I am going to get another since I Have no MAF anymore..

I'm not familiar with them on the inlet of the turbo, but what it looks like to me is that they replace intake pipe and filter, correct and act almost like a funnel, right?

The one's I'm looking for are pretty much a parabolic taper down from 3" into the compressor housing that you slip-fit the intake connectors over. I'm not talking about the ones that the pro drag cars use since I still need a filter, but having a parabolic taper will increase the velocity of the intake charge into the compressor and should improve the % V/E numbers, thereby increasing the flow rate of the head and improving the turbo efficiency.

Thats it. I said weapon-r ment Racing Sports Aki-whatever. I had one of those and it's 3" inside diameter so it should slip over the turbo housing no problem without any clamp. It's a tight fit so it didn't slop around and looked to be of pretty damn high quality to me. I'm going to order another.

They look cool. They probably do help if pointed towards open fresh air like your headlight hole with the headlight out. They are effective at filtering out any particles larger than 3".
