Help with new ERZ D/P bolting to my HKS exhaust

Any ideas on why my new 2 1/2" to 3" ERZ down pipe will not bolt up to my HKS hiper exhaust, I bought the DP off ebay and they said it would bolt up to the stock exhaust so I figured it would work with my HKS exhaust? Any ideas????

Also this DP kills the cat converter.

The only thing I can think of is fabricating an adapter plate to join the 3" to the 2-1/2". Best bet is to buy another exhaust.

This can not be happening, I just spent $600 dollars on the HKS exhaust......

If the ERZ DP says it bolts up to the stock, why would it not bolt up to my HKS????

If it bolts up to your stock, then it will bolt up to the HKS. The HKS is a direct bolt on to stock also. Maybe it is just hard to line up, or you need new bolts or something

Maybe the seller was just mistaken? It might not bolt up to the stock cat-back. How much did you pay for it?

I won the ebay auction at $130 plus $25 for shipping. They are now selling this same DP on ebay for $130 with the buy it now feature,This dp looks so sweet, I hate to not be able to use it. It bolts up to the O2 just fine but will not connect to the HKS cat back, the two holes where the bolts go through will not line up.
I there any way they sent me a DP for a FWD????????????

If I had only seen that post before I bought the ERZ dp, I am going to cut the flange off and weld it back on strait tomorrow, It should fix the problem.
