off-road use only??

It says this exhuast is used for off-road use only and it doesnt say nothing about a straight pipe so i was wondering if this exhaust was mandrel bent piping all the way through with no dp or straight pipe

That or it doesn't "tecnically" meet noise requirements..

the law here in florida is you have to be running a cat even though there is no emissions testing(you think some fat cop on a krispy kreme high is going to get on the ground to check?) and you have to make a reasonable effort to resonate your exhaust with a muffler. so as long as you have a functional muffler sticking out of the back of your car youre all good.

I got pulled over for speeding the other day, and I still worry about no CAT and my o2 external dump. I have a high flow cat for emissions testing.

do the emissions people know to check for external dumptubes and stuff? im having an external vent to the atm. when i get my l2r and if every thing goes to plan ill be moving to cali after that so.....

In CA, they do have a visual inspection, so it's hit or miss if the inspector knows enough to check for it. Your best bet is to find a mod-friendly station that won't give you such a hard time about stuff like catch cans, intakes, etc. Get onto the SoCal DSM list-- a lot of those guys know their stuff. These kinds of questions come up quite frequently on the list.

If your worried about beign busted for no cat... do what I did.

I cut the heat sheild off the stock cat and had it welded onto my exhaust pipe where a cat would normally be.

You should email Andy about that exhaust, last I heard he was no longer shipping them due to problems with FEDex. I guess quite a few customers systems were damaged during shipping.
