i just received my 2600 clutch kit today and am trying to figure out if it came with the new plastic sleeved throw out bearing or not. The one it came with is metal on the outside and plastic on the inside. It looks similar to the OEM one that i took off the car accept that it is bigger. should i use the bigger one that came with the act or should i get an OEM one?

When I got mine it came with a Nachi TOB... Slowboy said that it was the new one that is the same as stock. Other guys I talked to said the NGK one is the same as stock. I put the Nachi one in and have had no problems.

yeah mine came with the nachi tb, but its larger than the oem one... so thats why im not sure which one i should use or if it makes any difference

I used it and it worked great so far. By the way... Where in Chicago u located?

if you use the bigger you will need to adjust the clutch pedal don't forget to do that especially with the bigger one
