Toronto,
After some searching I found a suitable AN adapter fitting for the fuel pump outlet:

I believe this is a better solution that using a -06AN fitting because I can permanently fix this to the fuel pump outlet and be able to disconnect and connect the fuel line all day without having to reseal it every time. I have read that when people put a regular -06AN fitting on there they use teflon paste to seal it up. I am assuming this is so that they can remove the fitting later on if necessary since teflon paste isnt a permanent seal (or is it?). My question is that since I am not going to have to worry about removing the adapter fitting, should I use JB Weld to attach it to the outlet hard line, or would teflon paste still be better?

I think you should tig weld it in there as I've used JB weld before with limited success. Check out my gallery for a pic of what I think you're asking. I'm using -10 AN line for supply and -6 AN for return.
