I have been cursed with the oh so horrid automatic transmission, the reason me buying one, manual gsx's are a #@%#@%#@%#@%#@% to find in this area. So my question is this, should i wait around a year until i find a manual, but ofcourse not being garanteed, or spend a few grand on a tranny swap, since they are hard to find in this area, though i am losing money, i am garanteed a manual unlike if i wait. So what do you guys think i should do, and oh yea, if anyone knows official automatic and manual gsx 1/4 times, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all, later :dsm:

I have a different story why I ended up with a automatic and until I get the few grand to do a stick swap I'm going to try this kit from level 10:

I have already been through one tranny with almost everything stock except for intake, exhaust, underdrive pulley, and spark plug wires. Then I changet to a 16g and it started acting up again. Now I have done major upgrades on my car and I know the tranny will go very fast with my 18G and NOS. I am going to try this kit to see how long I can hold off before I have to do the stick swap. It cost about $500 shipped but that's less then spending a few grand for the stick swap at this time for me. They say it helps turn it into a bullet proof transmission. Here are their claims:

Fixes sloppy shifts, burnt clutch and bands, slippage, gear disengagement in OD, soft slipping 3rd shift, no reverse, no forward gears,2-3 flair up, rev limiter on shifts, flashing OD light.
A must have for NOS, Turbo, Supercharged machines.
Time 6-9 hours. Skill 3 transmission removal necessary.
Performance enhanced when used in conjunction with I112-2750 SHIFTRONIC, JA317-3000 TORQUE CONVERTER.
Torque 650 ft. 750 HP. <- most at dsm's don't push this much.
