6 bolt? or 7 bolt?

how do u know if your car has a 6 or a 7 bolt motor i have a 98 gst eclipse...is it 7 bolt for sure? i hear some people say some had a 6...??

I THINK all 2gs came from the factory with 7 bolts. The only way yours would have a 6 is if somebody swapped motors with a 1g.

you have a 7bolt. Do a search before you post man. Vfaq.com will answer all your Q's about your car

Unless someone swapped a 6 bolt in than its a 7 bolt.
